The Brook – Dupont, located in Louisville, KY, is an 88-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for children and adults. 

The Brook – KMI, located in Louisville, KY is a 98-bed hospital offering a full continuum of inpatient, extended care, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient services for adolescents, adults and seniors.

Our specialized treatment services are provided by a multidisciplinary team of highly trained psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, addiction counselors, nurses, pastoral counselors and activity therapists.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:

 

The Clinical Therapist is a member of the multidisciplinary treatment team. Major job functions include: obtaining psycho-social assessments; conducting family/group therapy on assigned cases; complete documentation per hospital policy and procedure; case coordination; coordinate discharge planning; assist in developing and maintaining community resource information; performs marketing functions as assigned; assists in the maintenance of the program environment in compliance with policies of safety and security; ensures good clinical judgment to ensure optimum patient care; participate in continuing education activities.

Qualifications

 

Education & Licensure/ Certification:

Required: Master's Degree from an accredited school in the Behavioral Sciences

Required: Must be licensed or under supervision in state of Kentucky (CSW/LCSW, MFTA, LMFT, LPCA, LPCC, LPA, LPP)

 

Experience:

Preferred: One to three years inpatient behavioral health work 
 Preferred: Experience working in a clinical setting with an adolescent population.
