Your Role:
As a member of the Hematology and Histology Quality Control team you will support the Diagnostics and Regulated materials branch of our Life Science business unit at the Cherokee site. You will perform analytical testing on produced and packaged goods to ensure that they meet our high-quality standards. This is a lab-based role, but you will also lead quality investigations and process improvement initiatives. This role will serve as a technical resource for the site and support training of other QC/Production colleagues, supporting audits and coordinating testing priorities to help the operation team achieve its goals.

Who You Are
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other Life Science Discipline
- 4+ years of experience working in regulated lab environment
OR
- Master’s degree in Chemistry, Biology, or other Life Science Discipline
- 1+ years of experience working in regulated lab environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Clinical lab certification such as ASCP, MLT, MLS, HT, H, and or CLIA
- Working Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and requirements (ISO 9001, 13485, 21CFR)
- Strong technical knowledge of a variety of Hematological and Histological principles
- Experience leading quality investigations and process improvement initiatives
- Experience reading and evaluating tissue samples
- Strong time management skills
- The ability to independently set daily priorities to meet department goals
