About the Role: We are seeking compassionate and reliable college students to join our team as part-time caregivers for seniors in the Columbia, Missouri community. This role offers flexible hours, making it ideal for students looking to gain meaningful experience while supporting older adults in maintaining their independence and quality of life.​

Key Responsibilities:

Assist seniors with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.

Prepare and serve meals, ensuring dietary needs and restrictions are met.

Provide companionship and engage in activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.

Assist with mobility and light exercise to encourage physical health.

Perform light housekeeping tasks, including laundry and tidying up.

Run errands, such as grocery shopping or picking up prescriptions.

Provide transportation to medical appointments or social outings as needed.

Monitor and report any changes in the senior's condition to family members or healthcare providers.​

Qualifications:

Currently enrolled as a college student.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Reliable, responsible, and compassionate nature.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy standards.

Previous caregiving experience is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle preferred.​
