I like the flexibility because I was originally an on-call worker where I decided when I worked weekly
What I wish was different
I wish I got even more extensive training to accommodate any situation since the patients change regularly

What I liked
I loved the experience building relationships with the consumers we served.
What I wish was different
I wish there was more COVID-19 support for the residents. It became emotionally taxing on staff when consumers were experiencing mental health issues as a result of being quarantined for months longer than the rest of the state.
Advice
Get out of your comfort zone and take shifts at different houses. That way you learn how to do care routines for more people.
