What I liked

I'm really glad that there is always something to do. I have worked a lot of slower-paced part-time jobs, so this gig is much more enjoyable. The managers and staff are really nice, although it can be stressful on weekends when there are so many shoppers. Overall, it's still nice to work there

I liked the other employees. All the managers had a good head on their shoulders and most of the other associates pulled their weight.

I wish I hadn't picked cashier as my designated role. I really don't like having to deal with that many people at once.

Advice

Make sure you know what you want to do when you walk in for the interview. If you just spitball and take on a role that you hate, you'll have very few opportunities to operate outside of that designation.

What I liked

I love the work environment, and my co-workers were lovely people. The store was neat, and my boss was an amazingly hard-working woman.

What I wish was different

I wish there was more staff in the store. There was always a problem hiring people, and it shouldn't be like that considering the store is really nice.

Advice

Never take it for granted! Always work hard, and give 100%. It will all be worth it once sales kick in. Be nice to people, and always ask for help if you don't understand something. If you are struggling with life, don't be afraid to speak up and let people know your alright.
